As far as diffs go..... The Quaife is as strong as you can get. Unfortunately nothing is bulletproof.

Well it is good to know that Quaif stands behind their product and their lifetime warranty claim.

Was your carrier that holds the diff not damaged? When I blew my stock open diff and my RS LSD my carriers were damaged and I had to source a replacement. I've blown my second RS lsd but havent taken it apart yet to see the extent of damage. I'm also going to be replacing the RS with a Quaife. I think the whole reason for the blown diffs may have been because they needed shimmed more to get rid of any side to side play.

my carrier is good. and actually yeah i think i didnt shim enough

ive been keepin my eye on TRE and they sell rebuild kits and carriers and all that good stuff. i bought another tcase though that was whining just in case, but i guess Imma buy the rebuild kit for that from tre and rebuild it myself as a spare. but now that Im going back to active life, i may not build it strong enough need a stronger tcase haha.

Im surprised the inside of your carrier is fine with all that damage to the diff. My last RS diff wasnt a real nasty break but it still messed up the inside of the carrier a little.
I noticed that TRE seems to be selling more parts now which is GREAT news I'm glad to see they are selling new carriers for a lot less than they used to be. Last time I got one I think it was 100 for used and 225 for new.
