Alright, I think this is giving me the guts to finally get at this myself, I've had one sitting in my garage for about a month and a half, just needing to re-clear it lol

do you have to sand and spray all of the exposed carbon?

thats pretty cool man. my hole car (2003 red) needs a clear coat.lol it came with a crappy one to begin with.

i just did the top of the wing, the rest was in good shape.
