I have to agree. How much are you paying for that, OP. I was seriously disappointed when I got 35% (legal in WA).

In CA, it is illegal to have any tint on the front side windows and the windshield. The others can be limo status if you want. Just letting you know. I got ticketed twice in my old car

Getting the front windshield isn't illegal everywhere, but the majority of states for sure. BTW - I think he meant the rear windshield.

its only legal to get tint up to the little mark on the windshild about 6" down form the top. thats why you see those ppl with that strip up there and thats the only legal place on the windshild you can tint

My wife used to live in Reno and it used to be legal to tint your windshield (I assume it still is but I don't know for sure). I have literally seen little rice-a-ronis driving around with limo tint on the front windshield with a tank slit with no tint so they could see out of the car. It was ridiculous.

I have heard a couple other states allow it too, but I can't recall which.

*edit - just found this link. It looks like Nevada has changed their law since my wife lived there, but North Dakota still allows 70% on the windshield. There are a couple states that don't allow any on the front (not even to the AS-1 line), and yes, PA is one of those states! Interesting information, assuming it is accurate.
