Vinyl Decal Potential? Car was vandalized
So some nice person decided to key most of the side of my car on the passenger side. Figured I have 3 options, get the whole car painted, paint one side or do a Vinyl decal. A wrap is out of the question since the paint job is through a friend who is a pro and can do it for less than a Vinyl Wrap. But for money saving purposes does anyone thing a nice decal would work. I don't normally ask questions like this but I am in a weird situation with the car being keyed and money is tight for something like this.
I really don't want my car looking like the fast and the furious so I dont know if there really is anything subtle that can cover up this mark, if anyone has links to some things they have seen that might help.

Cheaper than wrapping the car, I am speaking in terms of a decal that may be nice against the silver that could cover part of the door where the scratch is.

I was considering that but the issue is that the key mark is very thin and in some spots looks like a basic scratch that I am going to run my orbital buffer on and hope for the best. I was worried the touch up paint might not fill in properly since it is so thin it just keep and a along a lot of the car.

well we need a general picture (sideshot) and highlighted area where it was keyed to see if any decal would work...and honestly 99.999% of decals are ugly on a street car. ur best options are to live with it until funds are there, see if a detailer can buff them out, get that side repainted, repaint the whole car with an awesome new color.
