floor mats

Is there a way to fully wash the floor mats besides just vacuming it?

You can use a carpet cleaner to do it. Not one you rent, but one that is used to clean your house, you know one in a truck mounted system.

Long time ago when I worked at a auto detailing place, we used a pressure washer, not full pressure, but enough to clean them good use some type of soap or cleaner, then just wipe water off and let them dry in the sun.

Both are good methods, but the truck mounted is easier and less water gets on them.

Just wear them out and get new ones....

i just run mine thru the wash. it works great. the mats in my old eclipse 127,000 miles still looked new when i traded for my evo

yeah, I'm going to soon. does anyone else notice that they wear out quickly? I've had mine for about 5 months and the driver-side is going to be trashed soon.

I bought cheap black rubber floor mats to put over the carpeted mats just in the front. The OE mats are as new as day one.
