Another Evo 8 SAVED...My 05 SSL
I believe in a story to every car so here's mine...
I always dreamed of having an evo but money was always the issue. At the time I didnt have a good enough income to take out a loan so that was a big issue.
My previous car was an srt-4. I happened to get a local buyer who picked it up. 2 days after I sold the car I knew the only way I would get an evo was a crashed/salvage, so i started to call performance shops around the area for one. Luckily I got in touch with a guy from Pruven Performance in CT, and they had this 05 evo ssl just sitting there. (Talk about waiting for the right buyer huh)
I bought the car 3months ago. The damage was little to none. No air bags deployed. I had to replace headlight, lower control arm, rim, fender, and windshield. The hood was bent a little on the corner and was fixed within 30min. Front bumper was fixable, and rear door was swiped by something and quarter panel had a dent. Car went through the frame machine and everything looked perfect. I replaced mostly all parts with OEM mitsubishi and kept reciepts for everything. I Gave the entire car a new paint job, 1 month later the car was ready for NYS salvage examination and passed with flying colors. (All work was done by myself in my garage at home)
Car was bought stock. Overall I believe I got a good deal and the whole transaction went smooth. Thanks to everybody at Pruven for making it happen and Im a New happy Evo owner

Thanks guys..just thought id show you guys another evo was saved, I saw couple threads on here of people saving evo's so thought id chim in too
