I thought that the RS didn't have A/C, but yours clearly has it.

I believe it's an optional feature.

Looks like your car definitely wasn't stock before. Someone painted the radio bezel a flat black and the air guide for the filter panel isnt even connected. Usually signs of tinkering from the previous owner. Other than that, good luck with her!

Congrats on the purchase!

I was considering an 03 evo 8 with 78k on it for $14.7k, private sale.. It had all the 60k maintenance done at AMS, including trans, tcase, and rear diff fluid change. Had a new exedy twin disc too. Dyno tuned to 325whp.

I was still afraid to buy it. lol You have gotten me thinkin a bit though. lol

From what I remember, they all have A/C. Originally, Mitsubishi's plan was for the RS to lack A/C for maximum weight savings (and they had already printed material with that information) while the A/C would be part of some package, though of course that changed at some point.

Clean RS though! Part of me wanted to get one.

Better deal than I got. But beware of modded cars. Make sure you get slips of all the maintenance he or the dealer has done. Then look for wear and tear.

Yea, I have seen it and drove it. drove like a dream, looks like an 8/10 exterior and interior wise.

AMS did the follwing:
Timing belt
balance belt
timing pulleys
balancer tensioner pulley
waterpump
trans, tcase, rear diff fluid change
new front struts
radiator flush
front water pipe kit?
MR IX bov
tune @27psi for 325whp/325tq
plugs
oil change
some inspection AMS did?

I know there was more, I have seen the receipts and dyno sheets. I know it was $4k worth of work to the car!

everything was done in august. Its really makin me think to just save some money and go with it now.

i just want one for a daily.

If you feel like its worth it and it seems legit. Get it. I know i'm happy with my RS, even though it doesnt have power windows/locks.
