Official Lowering Spring Picture Thread
#84
First off great thread!!!!! Next I have had the Tien on other cars and loved them, but i have heard there cars are very picky about what springs they perform with. Did not see any thing about the D2's any one used them i was offered a set of them for a good price. I mainly just drag race the car but i also play a little as well off road but no road course stuff.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I bought a set and the back springs made me almost tuck rim and the fronts still had a 2 finger gap! I tried to cut the fronts but they never would get much lower. I stopped cutting the fronts when I didnt have to compress the spring to put them on!!
uncut rears
fronts with 2 or 3 coils cut out..
cant complain for less than 100 brand new..
This is with one person inside..
and the end result was my bushur tbe catching a manhole and ripping off! I was very happy about that!

Bilstein + Swift SpecR's on Volk CE28N 18x9.5 +34. This is how the setup looked right after I installed it. Looks high because I tried to take as much of a level picture as I could. It has settled a litltle lower and looks great. No rubbing issues whatsoever, and i'm running 265/35 Nitto NT555's.

do you think that I'll rub with the same suspension but with 18x9.5 +15 and 255/35??
