If anything I hate how the OEM rear bumper makes it look retarded. Looks like the JDM rear make it look more normal.

I still will never understand buying a rs and then getting an oem wing.

 

Well if they bought an RS for something other than being wingless then its valid, or maybe they just changed their mind

 

My RS came with the wing, and power everything, will post some pics later

 

my rs came with the wing but super stripped out interior, no power windows, no abs, no auto climate control, no radio, no sound proofing, no power mirrors, mitsubishi lancer seats( not recaros, the normal lancer glxi), metal brake calipers, steel rims, no passenger sun visor, no roof handles all round except for driver side.

had the head unit installed, still no power windows, but running bride seats, better brakes and better rims. Its my daily driver too.

 

Wow that is a striped RS, I did not get the recaros either, no roof hadles (just drivers) no sound proofing (but did get trunk lining) lucky for me I got brembos and BBS MR wheels all straight from japan, friend of mine got the car next to mine in the showroom, but his came with enkei's
I also got fully auto climate control, ABS+EBD brakes FTW!

 

??? they didnt come with an oem wing to cut costs, and for the tuners, due to most tuners taking them off anyways and putting their own wings on... not everyone is into the wingless look.. i personally think an evo looks wierd without a wing..so it was one of the first things i bought...

mine's from japan too.. but got a lot less... haha... i still have the steel rims!

 

When I got my Evo 5 RS, it was exactly like that. No Recaros, no aircon, no power steering, no pwer amenities, very noisy, 15" steel rims but nevertheless even faster stock to stock against the newer models due to its short gearing ratio This was the standard RS all over the world except US
