I think the weight is around 3150. roughly 150 lbs off the gsr model.

I thought somewhere that I read 400ish evo VIII RS's in 04.

1) Does anyone have some official production numbers from Mitsu for the RS? I've heard the IX RS are as low as 358 units...basically split up WW and RR evenly.
2) What is the official weight of the RS? I thought I saw something in the low 3000 lbs range posted.

Thanks...now add more pics people! I definitely want to see more hi-res photos of VIIs please!!!
Your right about the 358 for USDM IX RS found here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...s-updated.html

I'm not positive about the USDM RS wieght, but I've seen it listed a couple times at 3219lbs IX RS(w/ manual A/C listed as standard so non AC will be under 3200lbs) vs IX MR 3285 vs IX SE 3262. The VI TME RS is listed at 1260 kg or 2778 lbs

Thanks. No strut bar = less weight. The rims are Kosei 17x8 with 225/45/17 BFG drag radials

Thanks for the info. Until I see an official document from Mitsu then it's hard to believe those numbers.

Wow the VI TME RS is super light! That's lighter than a 98-01 Subaru 2.5 RS coupe.

I certainly like your track wheels better.....Although not bad, they have a BMW, sporty thing about them

BTW, Thanks for your reply to my wheel & strut bar question....I realize now that you are a serious 1/4 miler & the strut bar is probably not to useful......Peace

Thanks Craig
