i kind of like it but i think it would look better brushed at least then people not in the know wont ask you why you chromed your hood.

 

I am thinking of putting some diamond plate down on my hood. Think it would look good?

Holy **** that's cool. I don't think it works with yellow but that could be very nice on a black one, especially if someone did it to the roof too with an MR/RS/SE. Our trunks aren't aluminum, are they?

Nah I already have the diamond plate cut up and about to mount the stuff it weighs alot but it's all good.

I dig it a lot i am working on mine for my tb evo. But i must say i wouldn't do it all the time just for shows your car was way to clean to not have the yellow hood on all the time. I think even at the shows i would just sit it next to your car idk if id put it on lol.
