it took prob around 5 hrs in all.. i did it over 2 days so its kinda hard to gauge the exact time.... i used duplicolor clear..... the idea is to put it on kinda heavy in a cool environment so you dont get lap marks or orange peel.....

Sorry to bump a semi-old thread, but what was the process used after wet sanding and applying the clear coat? Did you use a buffer at all then and again at the final step?

You need to wetsand it and then buff it. Then wax it.

Between clear coats I wet sanded with 1500. Then after the final clear coat I didn't touch it. No waxing/buffing. Also keep in mind this is rattle can... It turned out awesome!!

dude this is the first thing I am doing to my car when I get it out of the tranny shop! it looks as bad as your before!

The rattle can may look good for a while but it will most likely Peel within a year depending on the climate its in. Mine did so I did it a second time but this time had bodyshop clear it.

Looks great, i'm going to do this to mine! I'm guessing you sanded the existing clear coat off?
