Being a guy that has enterred shows all over the Northeast, I must say, I think that **** is hot bro. LOL, I dont know what all this 2f2f bull**** is about, I dont know 1 car in FnF that had this paintjob. Also, customizing cars has been out a lot longer then the FnF Movies. I.E. Graphics on cars for instance, has been out way before FnF, Neon lights same thing, etc. Get real, customization has been going on for generations, whether it was on older cars, or newer cars for our generation. Get over it, people saying stuff like that makes it sound VERY jealous. But yes, there are always people that won't like something about your car, but there is usually a good reason behind it, not just, "Poor car" comments.

All in all, I think you're off on a good start, very different, original! You get 2 thumbs up from me, and many show points! Good job bro, dont let what people say bring you down, I learned to blow it off.

 

I understand the pics do not do justice..yet I feel that from the pics it looks mostly purple... You should post up some video to show off the true color of your car. I bet it looks alot better in person.

Im not trying to be an ***, but who painted that car?

First of all, the door sills that are black plastic were painted over, looks kind of odd. Also, there is some obvious overspray on the rear molding right above the door.

All in all though, looks nice. Hey if its what you want, who cares, right?

the door sills i had them paint, it looks different, all "stock evo's" have them black, its just a little different.
as far as the overspray, do you mean in the second pic? if so its just the angle, theres nothing there.

the job was done by a custom painter here in southern california called "NEW IMAGE" they are in temecula. they do ONLY like SEMA, magazine cars. it is very hard the paint this colors becuase if you lay it down wrong, as the car is shifting colors, it will not flow and be spotty, so many props on the paint job itself, those of you who will see it in person can better attest to it.

i was debating that one, i figured, let them spray it, and if i didnt like it, i could always grind it off, and paint them black, easier to take off then to paint on.

I agree with jotan82, grills and hood vent would have looked better black IMO (contrast). Overall bad-***! Don't even respond to the haters- at least YOU did something origional right?

And for all you using the 2F2F crap-you know you LOVE every car in that movie, (minus neons) and if don't- go get your sex change now and save yourself a lot of emotional distress.
