All good, turns out they were done with low temp powders below the min heat range for annealing to occur.

Thank you to everyone in this thread. You all have convinced me to purchase a set of wheels and go somewhat crazy with the color. Word of advice though, if you plan to AutoX and are lowered more than Swift Springs a 5mm to 10mm is recommended. I rubbed during hard corning last weekend.

Here's my contribution, I'll probably update my post later with higher quality photos.

They look great in white, I am planning to do mine white too. I purchased all the stuff to do it myself this time since I feel pretty confident in my spray painting skills.

Thanks! White on GG is pretty unique. I'm getting mine powder coated soon, not feeling the finish of the rattle cans too much.

I have the same rims on my ix. But everything is black I like how they look. I was wondering what size tires and if you're using a spacer?? Thanks

Tire fitment question

Just picked up my set of Evo X wheels today......

my main question is....my evo 8 has a mild drop on springs with the evo 9 Bilsteins, noting too low, ill attach a few pics so you guys get the idea of how low my car is currently.

debating a tire size; dont want to rub...what would you guys go with....

245/40/18 (Stock size from Mitsu)
or as i have seen many people run 255/35/18 on this thread....

if you were to personally run these rims, what tires would you go with?

Please help me out.

Pics below of how it sits, so u guys get the idea a little bit.
