so true, can't believe how the jdm heads are almost 1K now and almost everyone still manage to get them. To the OP, post pics on the car so we can see it.

this is true buddy . btw for the jdm head comment most people now will just paint them or get evodave to do it for like 165+shipping and have a quality job. There are jdm folks out there that want the orginal and hints the fact of them paying 1k for it. sometimes you have to pay a pretty penny for the good stuff or rare parts. some people only wear or rock name brand shoes or clothes body kits etc. Alot of people dont want custom parts rather buy tried and tested parts i guess boils down to if you dont mind paying

Wrong, when you purchase JDM headlights you receive a completely different housing that is flat black in the case of VIII MR and gloss like our USDM IX lights in the case of IX MR's. The top parking light is clear versus amber, and the turn signal is amber versus clear. Also, you don't send in your own headlight assemblies to get a "treatment".

There is quite a difference when you take all that into consideration no?

Pay $1000 for JDM:
-get more orange in the light....why? Looks ugly if you ask me
-and the housing is a different shade of black....uhhh ok?

Pay $700 for custom lights:
- you get what ever color housing you want
- sick LED lights and a Better uprade of head lights which makes the car look waaaaay more classey like the new generation of cars coming out
-it's nothing you have never seen on a evo
- doesn't look like someone just stamped a orange stripe on them like the JDM tails you pay $1000 for.
- the road is lit up way more now then stock lights.
-also IMO looks mean...

Hmmm I wonder which headlights I would get?

Good job to the OP for charging this project... Turned out sick... I'm super jealous on them and wish I had the money to bust it like you did! It's weird right? I'm jealous and want them while other people are jealous and hating on th calling them rice and ****... Haters is what make the world go round! Thanks haters!

the lights look good, its just way to expensive. A DIY project like this would be WAY less.

Looks good, IMO. I wouldn't do the strip at the bottom but I like everything else.

My buddy has an Infiniti FX sponsored by Cin City. Videos of his car are all over YouTube.

^^ you bake them (10 minuts @ 250 in the oven).

Anyways, headlights look awesome. Love the LED strip, not a big fan of the LED halo around the brights, but it still looks good. The blue demon eyes set it off.
