these are the exact ones he uses.

as for a write up on the dual projector mod, its not happening. i like the look but in no way shape or form is the cost justifiable. we had shrouds custom injection molded by a local company..... NO NIC DOESNT MAKE HIS OWN PIECES FOR THE SWAP.

this is what i told the people over on the 350z side of the car world.

there really isnt a DIY i can post. everything is ssssoooo customizable you pretty much just need to know what you want done and then ask your questions on how to do it. i no longer am trying to keep these secrets because its not my means of living anymore, its just a hobby for me that i really enjoy.

here is a starter for you guys...... minus the 350z specific stuff its the same process every time.

taking the lights apart is by far the easiest part.

1. take off your ballast/igniter, pull that peanut light out(just makes coming apart alot easier), then there are 5 screws around the outer edge of the light.

2. put your light on a cookie sheet(put something on the sheet so your lights arent touching any metal)

3. make sure you dont start a fire by letting anything touch the heating elements in your oven..... it happens.... believe me set your oven at 250* and bake for 15-18 min.

4. take lights out of the oven and start pulling it apart. its a skill that will take practice. the lights are hot. the glue sticks to EVERYTHING. and there are the plastic clips on the sides. start at the bottom inside corner and pull the bottom apart first....... DONT PULL IT TO FAR APART because the top kinda needs to slide out from the top before it will come completely apart.

you will get glue on everything the 1st few times unless you get lucky but it comes off with some good elbow grease.

DONT use silicone to seal them either.... thats a big NO NO. nissan sells the sealant from the dealership but the old rolls of windshield sealant is the same stuff and WAY cheaper.

this is just a quick way to get them apart and when you get used to it you can do it all easy as snot

OP:
Good to see ppl trying something different for a change. OEM VIIIMR or Blacked out JDMs are just too boring now. Thats easy to say considering these are the headlights we get in OZ.

Just a bit of knit picking:
I think you should have either chosen
* LED halos or
* CCFL halos
and not mixed the 2. The lighting colors dont quite match and I dont think they complement each other very well compared to selecting ALL LED or ALL CCFL halos.

I much prefer the CCFL look. I think the solid lighting looks better than a series of dots. Here's a set I finished for an EvoOZ member:

The Audi LED line is a hard concept to get looking right in a headlight that didnt come standard with it. Such things as:
* LED spacing (not too close to each other)
* chosen LED path
are crucial for a good look.

Sorry if I missed it but how are you lights set up? Do they all have independant switches? I think Halos and Audi line both turned on would be too much. Either one or the other turned on at a time

for any of you that might know me, my name is ryan and i was the glue that kept nics *** out of more trouble than he knows. all of the designs from when he started to about june of last year were MINE. he just had the funds to make them happen. he ****ed me over a little less than a year ago and i left cincity. he IS a shady *** MFer and anyone that asks me about them i tell them the same. if there is anyone out there actually willing to do something about this DB's lack of ethics and morals can contact me and i will do whatever i can to sink this guy so he doesnt keep ripping people off. i know alot of stuff that im sure he doesnt want anyone to know. plus i know of alot of people myself that he screwed over. get enough people and maybe that **** will have to sit some jail time. he is a dirtbag plan and simple.

On a side note if anyone really wants lights but doesnt want clearcorner's/cincity's prices, i will tell anyone how to do it yourself. its WAY way cheaper..... i know all his (mine) tricks of the trade and its all super simple stuff if you have good hand eye coronation.

I NO LONGER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH NIC OR ANYTHING HE HAS GOING ON!!!!

email me @ morris.ryan11@gmail.com if you have any info/questions that could help sink this ****er.

Awsome post Ryan
Heard too many stories about CinCity bad work ethics. I'd like to pick your brain some time on some techniques you use to install CCFL / LEDs inside the headlights.

S2Ks are a tighter fit in the Low beam housing of a CT9A HL. The projector needs to trimmed to the bare minimum to make it fit and allow for adjustment. The mounting point locations arent as DIY friendly but still acheivable

TSX on the other hand are a much DIY friendly projector in a CT housing. Great mounting point locations too
Currently doing TSX in the low beam housing for an Evo IX this side of town.

TSX installed in a JDM HL courtesy of lightwerkz:

rockman: i know he has seen this. im sure the OP has informed him. he never comments on stuff like this. he just sucks as much money as he can from a site then moves onto the next one. so dont expect to see him commenting on this.

in the OP's defense, im sure he just told nic to do whatever. and like always he comes up with retarded things. i was doing a set of g35 tails that we were putting LED halos in and he wanted to put ccfls in it also....... that was the first time i got pissed and told him that idea was dumb as hell. he got mad and made me put them in so when i showed the customer the finished lights guess what he said......... THEY LOOKED STUPID.

so yes they might not look right but i bet that was alll nics doing........

iEVO: send me a pm with whatever you got and ill help ya out with what ever i can
