Forgeline ZX3R's - 18x9.5 on 929's EB Evo

Just got my completely custom setup installed this past weekend. Brand new custom Forgeline ZX3R's in a custom bronze color I picked out with custom offsets thanks to Forgeline and broeli here on the forums! I spent a ton of time researching options for 9.5" or 10" rims for the VIII-IX and it's tough and limited. So many require staggered offsets or huge amounts of fender rolling/cutting/pulling, relocation of tabs, huge spacers, etc.

These are crazy light and super strong 3-piece custom wheels. For a completely custom setup, they cost about the same as some JDM wheels that people have to wait months for! Check them out: Forgeline

Actual specs are 18x9.5" +33 - currently wearing 245 Hoosiers. Same offsets all around so I can rotate as needed for optimal tire wear. Rear fenders are rolled even to prep for wider tires...

Forgeline had not actually made a bronze before so I figured it was high time to do it! David @ Forgeline sent me some samples and I chose the color. Here's how they turned out. With the flakes they have, they look really different in direct light/sunlight vs indirect - the 2nd and 3rd pics show that.

Edit: Forgeline told me they weigh 20lbs.

True. But after this happened to me last october, I vowed to get away from cast rims and convert to all forged rims.

My bad, I left that out. Just added it: +33. Had zero issues of rubbing at the track this weekend.

I dug up your pics awhile back; very nice looking ride!

Did you have the ZX3's on it or the ZX3R's? What size and offset?

Fo Sure.
Enkei and Advan both make good rims. But a lot of their track-worthy options require large spacers or don't come in a good 9.5-10" wide option that I wanted.

I didn't get a chance to weigh them. I've got an email into Forgeline to find out the actual weight. I'll post that up when I find it out.

An additional lightweight option they have is Lightweight Hardware Option -Includes Titanium Bolts and Jetnuts (per wheel).
