Evo 6 Project 56k... NO!!!!
Well whats up everyone.. its official, I just picked up my next mirage/evo build. Its a 1.5 5spd sedan. You can see what my plans are by reading my sig, hopefully it wont take me too long to build, but all depends on $$$ and being able to source the parts over seas.
Planned Timeline
1) RHD and AWD conversions(end of may)
2) Body Panels/Paint(middle of july)
3)Drivetrain and Interior(september or october)
4)???(???)
Here are the pic's i got from the guy i bought it off of and no im not getting it with the rims(i know bummer lol)
Anyways here are some pic's of my previous Mirage build, i used VIS body panels, and learned my lesson, going OEM now....
Went from this
To this

i need some updates to this thread, looks like its gonna be a good one, also love the blue or red, leaning more towards the red though. the green just isn't my thing, but its your car so get what color u like.
what about a flat black vinyl wrap and some white or flat black wheels that would look sexy!
keep me updated lol

I'm up in the air about it as well. While there technically were LHD Evo 6's, finding the proper parts is almost impossible (wiring harness and steering rack). However we have seen that a RHD engine can work with very minor wiring changes (Manny). Also once I get my RHD steering rack, I'm going to see if I can swap the rack itself from the Evo housing to my stock one.

once i get my swap done i will be getting it ref'd shouldn't be an issue at all, idk how they're gonna deal with the awd though, thats prolly gonna be interesting, but the motor will be just as if it was in an evo 9

ok not much of an update but i've removed a few body panels and the rear seats... pretty just waiting till i start getting other stuff... im going to be contacting jhot to see if they can get me a rhd and awd conversion, if so i'll be ordering that the end of may(with my first check) then after that im probably going to be ordering my body panels in july so that i can order everything at once. after that planning to get a crashed evo in september or october... so here is the planned order
1) RHD and AWD conversions(end of may)
2) Body Panels/Paint(middle of july)
3)Drivetrain and Interior(september or october)
4)???(???)
