Any of you guys running the sheepey manifold have any fitment issues? I'm just getting finished with my drag car. I went with the sheepey twin scroll foward facing kit. The manifold was a nightmare to bolt up. We had to cut two of the studs almost in half just to get the mani to sit flush with the head, with out the stud hitting the manifold. We then had to actually grind the two hex nuts down because there was no way the regular nut would fit.

These pics are before we had to cut the studs...

In this pic you can see the gap between the head & manifold.

Any of you guys have this same issue? I didn't see anyone else running his twin scroll. But was curious how the t3 manifold fitment is?

I test fitted mine and seen that 2 studs are really close to the runners so I'll have to deal with that later. But I also had them do the big boy runners, not the 1.5 inch they're used to

from my experience Sheepey is a good dude and if you are having problems I am sure he will not hesitate to take care of you. Im not sure if your fitment problems are common or not but I know that they will make things right. I have zero affiliation with them, just my 2 cents.

You have to put the manifold on and the nut on at the same time and spin the nut as you push in. It takes a bit of time but it fits. The only problem is the turbo sitting really low behind the intercooler.

I'm not saying he's a bad guy. I chose to go with his setup because I'm a previous honda drag racer and my whole team still drag races spfwd Hondas. Some of them are using his manifold. When my tuner contacted him on his personal cell # his reply was "I know man, I'm sorry" which left us confused. After us hitting him up again he simply said "your on the list". My tuner knows him very well. So as far as I'm concerned he's going to send me another manifold. When? Idk. But I'm not making a big fus about it right now because I want to finish the season.

We tried everything bro. You'd have to see it in person to see the issue. The nut doesn't even line up even with the whole in the mani. I'm guessing its only an issue for the twin scroll mani's. I'm sure he'll do right by us. I'm not worried.

Mine sits exactly like that also after it's all said and done. I'll take a picture tonight and show you. The problem with my kit was the downpipe was hitting the block, had to shave the block and reweld the 02 housing for it to fit correctly.
