Black Headlight Housings

Hey, does anyone know if Sparco or other vendors will have black headlight housings available for my Tarmac Evo? Those things are beyond awesome (and I am sure very expensive )...but I havent found a vendor that is selling them.

Thanks in advance.

They just painted the stock headlight. They are not a production item (that's what they told me)

Oh, and I know people are DIY these with their own headlights, I just don't have the time nor the skill to do do it myself.

bro it's REALLY easy and not very tough. you can find instructions here somewhere, but i did it with the wrx I used to have. i really dont wanna see a fellow evo owner waste money on something so easy. all you need is an oven and some damn good glossy black paint. if u were in FL i'd do it for ya, im doing mine this weekend. i'll try to post instructions.

Zero...question...I've read everyone's write-up on this DIY black headlight housing...

One question: Why put the housing BACK in the oven after everything has been put together?

Someone locally did it and had their headlights fog up from condensation... be careful.

If the Evo MR headlights become available, I'd buy them and sell my HIDs to someone with a regular Lancer.

so that all the natural juices can give it better flavor

ie....make sure you get a good seal all the way around the lense. AND make sure that you are in a low humidity environment when you reseal the lense.
