Below are some pictures of the Track Event in Chengdu Internation Race Track... My starting position was in 6th place but i managed to finally come 3rd in the Unlimited Modification Division... I used AD08 and Ran a 1:45.3xx fastest lap time compared to 1st place driver who ran 1:44.8xx and he used A050 tyres where as i used AD08, next race i will also use slicks or A050 tyres i should be able to get my time down each lap by at least 3 seconds !!!

Click on the Video below you can see my launch, 6000rpm, 0.5bar anti-lag launch !!!

My friend bought a evo 9 and gave me the job to help him build a list, and he's goal was to be faster then me, I then recommend using a Ams performance build or a bushur racing build as these two companies know their evo's !!! With the Ams build I would recommend the 2.3rr Ams crate engine with the Ams 750r turbo kit, and bushur racing 2.3rpm crate engine with a ball bearing FP black turbo.... + all the other bolt on parts they recommend.... Transmission I don't think you can go wrong with shep trans !!!

Are the stock driveshafts on the evo easy to brake ? I'm still using the stock driveshafts so far and I havnt had a problem yet.... Any other evom people have experience ?

Not true, a lot of high hp cars and cars that track a lot use upgraded axles... Just wondering how long my stock ones can last for....

Very satisfied with the performance of my evo setup, but if i want to get a faster lap i need to cut down the weight of my car and also upgrade my suspension... was thinking of Tein Super Racing Coilovers as these are also used on the HKS TIME ATTACK CYBER EVO... if its good enough for them it's good enough for me as im not a professional race driver...

Anyone on evom have any experience with these coilovers or other brands for track ?

I'm not a fan of Tein, most people I know ditch them soon after getting them and most reviews I've seen have been less than favorable...
