Anybody out there paint there Evo Matte Blue?

What do you guys think... Evo 8 matte blue??

 

i say go for it! this looks pretty bad ***.

 

It would look good if you have tasteful appearance mods. If you're planning on painting a stock looking VIII; it will not look good.

Can we see some pics of your VIII now?

 

Saw a gt3 RS porsche painted matte blue at the local car show, it looked bad ***.

You gotta have tons of exterior mods to pull it off though. A stock evo would just look like a faded lancer.

Doooo it.. I own a EB evo and I always thought about doing a Matte Blue for it minus the fact that I don't have the money for it..

I have given this some thought as well. When I was painting my 1g a few years ago, I loved the rally blue pearl without clearcoat. It has pearl in it. It would look great as a matte color. Just throw some matte clearcoat over it and call it a day.
