20% looks so much better than 5%

imo 5% is to ghetto my friend got his srt4 tinted i was thinking he got 15-35% but its 5 and looks so crappy.

I have 5% on the doors and 20% on the rear window. I had 15% allaround on my svt and loved it, but I never found a guy again who had 15%.

oh yeah, i had the car in for recon today... i stopped on my way to work to check out the progress... from the looks of it, they got rid of the scratches, but that was under the shop lighting... i'll need to inspect it better when i pick her up tomorrow morning...

After having a shop tint all my windows (except windshield) AND put on the full ClearBra kit, I now have a couple perfectly straight scratches/lines on my windshield. They only show up when the sun hits them at just the right angle, and since the sun only shows itself in MI about once a year, it doesn't really bother me. Plus, I'd rather try to polish them out than have the glass R&R'd.

So, would a tinter put the the film on the windshield for cutting for some reason? I know they size/cut them on the intended glass pane, but why would he use the windshield? Maybe the ClearBra?
