255's on the stock MR BBS' for me.

Back on topic, stretched tires ftw yo.
Subarus are known for running stretched tires on wider and more aggressive wheels. You know why?! It's cuz they can't run such wide wheels/tires or aggressive offsets without rubbing. They have HORRIBLE offsets; reason being why A LOT of them run stretched tires.

My STI fit 255's on the stock BBS' without any modification just like my Evo does.

I thought I had mistakenly pulled up vortex with all the talk of stretched hella tyte looks. Like someone posted before, it's real cool until your bead pulls out when you're cornering a little too quick. A little stupid to go for a look that actually detracts from your car's performance.

I will find a subaru on that forum with stretched tires. trust me.

EDIT:http://www.iwsti.com/forums/gd-tires...nt-thread.html

While there is guys in this thread with fitted tires, there is also stretched tired subarus.

I think the first thing that comes to mind when stretched tires are brought up, are the rediculous stretches. 195's, 215' on 8, 9, or even 9.5" wheels. That is just stupid. But the streth i think the op is referring to is not bad at all.

here is my 1g on 17x9 rpf1's. I have 235/40's on them. I dont really consider it stretched, although some will criticize me for it.
