Mad props to a fellow high mileage TB. Your car looks spectacular, especially for all those miles. I hope to build mine next year or so and Im pushing 100k. Thats gotta be a ton of fun on the street. Keep up the good work and great pics .
Im sorry if its already been asked but has it been painted at all?

This car is incredible. I can't thank Emery and Austin and Cory and Dave Buschur enough for the direction this car went into. I couldn't dream up a better combination for a car, and there it is, just sitting in the driveway. Bad *** black on the outside, candy purple skittles under the hood. Power, drive-ability, comfort... I feel very honored and very lucky.
The car feels amazing. I'm judging this right now as a DD car...
I took it to work tonight and things simply feel like they are smoother... the entire drivetrain, the motor, the throttle... feels like they don't need to work as hard. It's definitely a different feel.
The Exedy triple is SUCH a light pedal! It's incredible compared to the twin.
I can feel (not to mention hear) the difference in the motors, too. On the stock motor when we first switched to the 35r, I will admit, I missed the quick spool of the stock turbo and was a little sad to see it go. On the expressway, it was awkward to slightly accelerate in 5th, I definitely wanted a bit more. Then while the car was tore apart, I was driving another Evo with a stock turbo and honestly realized my mistake. The "insta-spool" was borderline annoying, blowing off like a ricer everywhere. Now, with the new motor... it's perfect. I can subtly feel the low end power increase, and it is just enough to give the car that extra "oomph" I was looking for down low, part throttle.
Mid-throttle acceleration is... exhilarating. It's smooth all the way through, there is no mega-blast of boost, it just... it's smooth. Very enjoyable. The sound of the motor is quite a bit deeper, almost reminds me of the "reverb" effect in Final Cut Pro (sorry, no one probably knows what that means... but it's cool.)
The motor mounts are all in now (we were waiting on the back dogbone mount before) and she is definitely solid! Not obnoxious by any means, but it definitely makes a statement at idle.
Now, again, I am judging this as a normal, "everyday" daily driver... I have yet to put the pedal to the floor.
I'm scared.

Emery has 2 Eclipses to tune tomorrow morning, and some drag radials should be in tomorrow to get mounted on some stock BBS's we just picked up... I was having a hard time launching on the Azenis.
Possibly tomorrow night... we'll see. If not, maybe Friday. Weather is weird right now. low 60's, passing showers.
But about that motor... it's pretty sick! Came off the engine stand, into the car, onto the dyno, up to 576 HP... then home. Got about 150 miles on it now.
