Thanks Ernie, not sure I'll be a superstar quite yet. I've never even tried an autocross, and the boys always pass me in go-karts. I'm really not an aggressive driver... but Porsche's **** me off. Always have... So things might change if I'm trying to hawk one down on a track!

I'm excited to be a part of it, and document it. I am a very lucky girl.

When things start to change, I'll start posting upgrades. It might not be right away though.

Autocross huh? I will say, I have more fun in autocross then drag. Depending on how big the courses are, the car will nee to be tuned down a little, right?

Yes, It's current 660 whp MIGHT be a bit much... but I bet it would do 4 wheel drifts with no problem.

No, we are thinking 400 hp. Back on the stock turbo it made 400/400 and the thing was PERFECT! Just enough to spin, but not out of hand.

Emery might want to try a new turbo...

And I may just chicken out when it comes time. I don't know. I never really got much practice drag racing because I figured it's getting beat on enough, why should I abuse it more when I'M certainly not breaking any records with it. It's a tough call, and road racing is going to be 300x more abusive.

You should sign up for the autocross's forth spring race and Shootout Shawna, you'd love it. If you need any help, I'd be glad to help with anything I know. I do pretty good for running cars in auto crosses that certainly not set up for doing it

Thank you David! I am hoping I like it the first time out. Sometimes if I'm not good at something, I'll just lose interest. Like video games. Some of them I play, and don't understand, and get quite bored... but you put old school Mortal Kombat Trilogy in front of me and I'm gonna kick someone's A$$! Again and again

I'm sure after one time out, I'll have a million questions! I just hope I don't suck. There is a local autocross event at my old college quite often, so maybe this spring I can get a whack at that!

Your gonna suck shawna! lol I did, BAD!! I went pretty slow my first two runs, then when I started to pick up speed, I went out of course lol. I really try to walk the course over and over by myself everytime before I go. I am no pro, but this def helps me learn the corners and whatnot. I just wish around here, they were larger courses. The largest one is held at an old airforce base, its not bad though.

I think you will have a blast doing it though. I have had fun the 4 times I have done auto-x on the weekends. It is rough on the car though. My old evo had more rattles after I auto-x'd it.

True, true, this little car has 147,900 miles... she might not like the abuse too much. But everything is pretty solid still.

I'm not sure I'm an aggressive enough driver to really shine, but I'll never know until I try.

I used to be able to do drift circles in my GSX in the snow around light poles keep the nose facing the pole!

And just for a brief moment of remembrance... she was pretty.

We got sick of looking at Mobil1 on every Evo engine bay... and got to thinking... We have sold a bunch of the cap decals! We will have Royal Purple available soon too!!

And since you mentioned it... Yeah, I kinda miss that car. It was clean enough to rival the Ricer. An engine bay you could literally lick... but it was many, many years ago. They just don't look like that anymore.
