What size tires you guys gonna be running? Im interested to see the work you have to do to get them to fit with no rubbing.

I'm not 100% sure yet... but yes, should be interesting. We have a fender roller here at the shop and the rears are already done. I'd like some tires that are streetable and aggressive. this thing is getting tuned down a bit and I'd like to be able to go to the Adirondacks and visit my Poppa and sisters and be comfortable ripping on some back roads Yokohama?

Ah, i see. Thats what lead me away from those wheels. I was originally gonna get those in the same size, just in SBC for the bling factor. I want to run at least a 255 tire though. That would require a lot of work from what Ive seen to run the +15 in the rear. I opted out for a set of the 5zigen fn01rcs. Perfect offset, I cun run a nice 255 tire, even a 265 with minimal mods.

I cant figure out what tire I want to run now though. Ill keep an eye out to see what you guys decide for your car. I think our goals are the same. I want a tire that will get some mileage on them, but yet something that will hold my power, so i can have some fun auto-x'ing or messing around at the 1/4 mile.

I really like my nitto nt05s. They have decent tread wear and got good reviews wet and dry. They are pretty cheap also. You could also look at nt01s for a little more aggressive tire.

When is this project going to hit the road?

I'll have it out on the roads as soon as the salt is gone! Probably March/April... if we are lucky!

Going to get some more work done today. Might be on the dyno as soon as Monday! We'll see how the buschur motor and stock turbo work together.

Stock turbo? 6 speed transmission? WTF?

I don't even know what's going to happen at this point. At the end of the day... we have THREE EVO's... is that necessary?

You might just see a for sale thread soon... because of this...
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...11-ww-ssl.html

Now, let's get one thing straight... 4G63 FTMFW.

But, time goes on and being in a business, time will go on without you if you're not in the right gear.

I'm not going to let this car go cheap, especially if it's still got the Buschur 2.0LR motor in it. I'll drive it for a while, take some sweet pictures with the new JDM rear and 18" RPF1's and see what happens from there.

It still has a lot of nice parts. May just sell the parts and go stock, then sell the car, may sell it all together, may not sell it at all.

2 stipulations if it sells:
I keep the purple Avid Mounts, Valve cover and purple STM brackets.
I get a AWD DSM for a winter DD!

But all that aside... new parts are still NEW PARTS!

Buschur Exhaust & 6 speed transmission:

Sick sick sick. Good job with the updates and photos, Shawna.

So is it a built 6-speed or just an OEM unit?

Also, I don't think you responded to a question I asked you. What camera do you shoot with?

Thank you! It is a stock 6 speed transmission. The mounts are different, so I'm loosing the purple Avids. I have a Nikon D5000. If you look close enough, you can see it in the rear bumper

Avid makes mounts for the 6-speed, too! Get them painted! I'm very into photography and shoot most of CBRD's events so I appreciate your high quality photos. It's the only way to really show off good work and show people want your shop can do! I'm on my iPhone 4, but if you look close enough, we can see you, too!

Yes, I'm hiding there too! All your pictures are always awesome! They certainty don't go unnoticed.

I just got a new iPhone 4 from Verizon... I FREAKING LOVE IT! I was happy with my Storm, and didn't see the need for change... maybe it will be the same with the VIII to X Even if black is gone, Ricer will always be there, sparkling, mean and FAST!
