STM back from the 2010 DSM/Evo Shootout
101 pictures are in the gallery! www.stmtuned.com
As always, we were all running off no sleep and it was insanely hot but we had a blast! Buschur's Dyno Day was PACKED! You can almost see the ricer on the dyno behind all those people!
A few hours into the day Emery and David were talking... and somehow they had me pull my Evo in the shop and I got the lightweight driveshaft out of Buschur's Bad Bish! I feel quite honored to have had Emery, Cory Bowers, David Buschur and Curt Brown all working on my car! Not to mention Bad Bish parts!
I really did not get enough pictures! My sister came with us, so she learned how to use a Nikon (and she did great! Took most of the pictures!) She even got to sit next to David Buschur at breakfast Sunday morning.
The guys held down the booth (obviously quite well, look at those guns!) and sold a ton of parts! Which is good because the truck the parts came into Ohio in wasn't coming home to NY with us!
But the day belonged to Cory Bowers. His Evil 2g TSI was finished just days before the Shootout and his first pass down the track was a 10.7 (right off the bat beating his previous 10.9 last year!) He even had a video interview, his car attracted so much attention! He made a few passes down the track with a best MPH of 132 and he won 3rd in his racing class.
Also, congrats to Mike Faggiano for taking 2nd in his class, Yasir Afif took 3rd in his class and Chris Wirth won first in his class for the MOTOVICITY MAX EFFORT (drag and autocross!)
Ricer... was all over the track! She just wants to kick sideways... even at 120+! Not cool. Emery held on and got a few mid 9's @ 155ish, an had to let out once going into 4th because it wanted to jump right! So right now she is sitting on the corner scales...
All in all... fabulous trip! Thanks to all our friends for all your help. I seriously couldn't ask for a greater group of people in all the world! Thank you David, for your hospitality once again.. and your really good cheeseburgers!
Facebook has some good stuff.
Brian will have a sweet video up soon!

Is that David Buschur wearing the orange t-shirt in the 1st picture?
If it is, he's lost a good amount of weight; he looks like he could run a marathon.
That pic of the black Talon with the doors open .
