The black on the ledge looks good man....flows really well. I will be chopping the nose on my 8 when I get back from this deployment and doing something similar. Nice work man!

3 packages of plastic bumper repair glue
(they come w/ wire mesh to put on the back side for strength)
1 can of bondo (small)
1k nason primer
a can of "bumper" paint in black (more flexible)
180 grit (to sand down bondo)
600 grit (to wet sand before painting)
grinder/dot grinder to cut old piece out
i had a honda bumper we cut the chunk out of cut to fit and plastic glue/welded it in place w/ mesh on bottom side ..
then drimeled the edge out where it would "connect" on the top so that the weld could get down in between the 2 plastics and really bond..
let it dry.. primed..
let it set over night..
then put on like 3-4 coats of the bumper paint.
let it set for 30 mins and boom done!

I bought this lip for my car and the fitment was really good.

I should have taken the bumper off when I installed it so that it wouldn't dip down a little bit in the front. Im going to pull it back off to get it painted so I will fix the gap when I put it back on.

I liked the chopped 8 nose, but do you plan on leaving it open like that? If I put an 8 nose back on mine I would have to find away to get the mesh and back in there.
