Ok so if the abs is taken out what must be done to replace it to ensure the brakes still function correctly? As I stair T my empty engine bY I find myself stairing at the engine bay wondering what can be removed and tucked/hidden, I have pulled the ac out completely. Just curious about the brake thing?
it's pretty simple. if the car is street driven (especially in a "spirited" manner), i'd recommend keeping the ABS. it just may save your ***.
if you wanna live dangerously, take out your ABS fuse and go for a drive around a parking lot. i was locking up my brakes all over on an auto-x course, though i admit i was doing it on purpose 'cause i got a laugh out of it. it can be kinda scary around town.

i'm not 100% sure, on these cars. on a honda, you just have a master cylinder, lines, prop valve, more lines, and calipers.

He was at an auto x, your in Hawaii! Lol
The weather is nice the roads are warm. Rain would play a factor. Honestly how often do u feel the ABS kick in? Do you drive it that hard? Stock wheels/ tires? Suspension? Things you have to consider.
Myself on the other hand will drive this car in only the nicest weather (too much into it to do otherwise), I'm going with 18x10s on all corners with an aggressive tire. Suspension is a big plus to dig and stop.... And don't forget brakes, I'm running 14.7" 6 piston rotoras.
Deleation of the ABS on stock setup is NOT recommended, especially if you plan on driving in the rain!

You had ME at "stretched tires"
Lmfao, maybe I missed something here. Where did I mention streched?
FYI... Flared, shaved and proper adjustments for the 18x10s, comon bro you should know me better than that by now.
Obviously having a stretch'd tire for performance is a joke

meh.. there really isnt anything wrong with non-abs in the rain.. it still takes alot to lock up the brakes.. ive had to panic stop a few times in the rain, and never locked em up... might be tougher going from an evo w/ abs to non abs though.. used to being able to slam on the brakes, instead of controlling the brakes.. but non abs is still very safe! its all on the driver! no manufacturer would sell a car with non abs if it was unsafe to drive in wet conditions!

Not many of us have had our ABS kick in, which is a GOOD thing. ABS isn't something you use on a regular basis, it's for emergency use only. Hopefully most people never need it. I've used it a time or two while on the track and once in some REALLY nasty weather.
Any way, it's all preference. Delete it if you like, of course. If my were a dedicated track car, I'd do the same.

Had some time in-between work to put her back on her feet!!!
I cleaned up the under side along with some cool rocker gaurd for the wheel wells (black w/aqua speckle). Those pics will be up later.
GT-Spec trunk cage just clears the new fuse box! It couldn't have been any closer. It's almost the same exact green as the car when you look straight at it, the pearl in the clear makes it look blue at an angle.
