Figured I'd update this.
The pics dont do these justice but they are candy purple
Went ahead and had my friends shop do me a -8 fuel line set up
I ended up giving the FS635 to my bro to run on his SR 240 and picked up a 6765 CEA
Going to refresh somethings in the motor and go for an 800hp power goal:
Gonna do the trans while its out the car too
Gonna run a dual catch can setup. JM Fab polished catch can for -6 lines
JM Fab polished coolant over flow tank
JM Fab cam sensor shield
Picked up a JM Fab polished Drag Intake manifold
Pic of the stacks
Pic a friend had done for me while I was still on the 62mm
Old dyno shot

John, your EVO has always been one that I really respect. It amazes me all of the work you have had done to it both personal as well as having respectable shops wrench on the car. JMS is a great shop and certainly stepped up to the plate a little over two years ago. Keep up the great work.
By the way, I have another EVO now and buying parts for it like crazy.

I've changed direction with shops that I allow to touch the car now. RTR in heights and XGEN Auto in Austin. Thanks it's been a long 5 and a half years it seems like.
Glad to see you got another Evo. I'm gonna have to check it out.

RTR...? XGEN...?
Things have changed since I moved to Arizona.
I call the EVO the "storm trooper" and will get you some pictures as soon as I can. The plan is 500whp and 450wtq on E85 with the MAP EF3.
This is still nothing close to where you are. By the way, how difficult is it to have some drop-in pistons matched with some nice rods for an added peace of mind?

RTR is my friends shop and XGEN I met through him.
As for the pistons and rods I would think 1200 at the most depending what brand you go with. MAP is prob gonna be your best route as far as price goes. You gonna keep it a 2.0?

As for the rods and pistons, I just want more peace of mind but I realize that even with built engines it still depends on the tune.
As for the engine, yes, I would like to keep it a 2.0L but I have always loved something with the 2.3L.
