Ebay vs HKS Sport vs Stock Exhausts *SIDE BY SIDE*

Take a look. I did not install either the ebay nor the HKS, but most likely I am installing the HKS tommorrow.
Things to note-
the ebay exhaust is stainless steel, and it appears the HKS exhaust is the same- I held both the mid pipe of both exhausts and they felt about the same weight. Mild steel I would assume would be more noticable.

Those who have a JDM rear- I was told the stock exhaust fits the JDM rear nicely, and it looks like (based on the mounting points) that the HKS exhaust would fit just like OEM. (the tip and rear mount bolt are almost identical in position)
close up of HKS and stock mufflers

exhaust fits like stock.
alright sound comparison- same day, same cold start up, same camera, heck im even wearing the same underwear

UPDATE: driving the car - the exhaust is definitely quieter. I had it side by side with a megan catback and you can clearly hear the different in sound output at idle...

Looking forward to your impressions. I wouldn't mind a quiet exhaust, myself.

+1 on ebay exhaust... got that for my first evo and the fitment was A+, i dont see whats the big deal in spending 6-8 hundred dollars on a NAME BRAND exhaust when u could spend ALOT less for the SAME THING...

I got mine for 220 shipped... complete 3" TBE w/ a very straight flowing design... and the sound is awesome...

Does it taper inside the muffler of the HKS?

Also have you done the magnet test?

My buddy was giving me $hit about my ebay exhaust until we put it on the lift to roll the fenders, Then he looked at it and just got quiet. Never heard him complain about it since! lol

A few of the ebay exhausts fit really nice. But stay away from those with crappy sales rating.
