#1 and #3 can be caused by driver ignorance/error, such as hitting a curb... and are not a failure on the rims part. My above pic, though i can't prove it, im sure is not caused just b/c of a cheap rim but driver ignorance as well.
Hit a curb in any car with any rim and i'm sure there is going to be a issue, but look at how well one holds up compared to the other, as a testiment to the quality and reliability to the respective brands. The Volks are in one piece, where as ... the Rota is not. might be b/c of the level of quality there which is what you are probably paying for, but heck if you don't want a reliable rim, i mean its not like they are important, then thats your call. No big deal for street driving but i wouldn't want to use them in any type of racing or event that might put strain on the wheels.
Here is a link to a list of failures

also, for as many rota wheels you find that are broken/cracked, i can find just as many originals

I'm on Swift spec R springs. My car scrapes going into my driveway now so I can't gunny lower. I actually kinda like it's stance cuz it's got a bit of a muscle car look to me although I'd like the front a bit lower. As for the Rota/Volk debate, I've never seen or heard of a failed Grid. I'm well aware that TE37s are alot lighter and definitely will affect performance but not enough for me to warrant the extra cash. If I was to compete then maybe I'd do something different but for a DD / track toy these are just fine by me.

I PMed Touge Factory on this board. They are good at communicating and were able to turn my idea into reality with alot less effort than I expected. The pricing is very reasonable but you need to talk with them cause I'm sure every application is different so I don't wanna talk money on their behalf.
