It doesn't surprise me at all they haven't contacted anyone at Akuma with the kind of arrogance they displayed in this thread. It's incredibly inconsiderate the owner has left you hanging. I hope your charging storage.
It will give me a bit of satisfaction seeing the car parted out if it comes to that. Just for how rude the owner was to me for asking a simple and harmless question.

I am one the feels a nice car is more appreciated with a great owner, the greater person the owner is, the more one can appreciate the car. No personal experience with the owner except the responses of him and his peers in this thread and it was truly nothing but arrogance. I've been hearing stories of this car being abandoned and like others stated it doesn't surprise me. First time I followed up on this thread in a while.

He's a previous employee. Taking "action" would surely burn bridges! Either way, I can't wait to see the car completed or parted out like everyone else is wishing for lolol

i personally find the car while very clean ( in some aspects) and full of new ideas, goddy and overdone..all the record setting cars are simple and clean ie: buschur, stm, shep etc etc....for the owners to make big talk and disappear is only typical and im sure they might still show up and show us all that they will finish the car (or part it out) but this car will never set any records without a real racer behind the wheel plain and simple

ok ok ok! Hahaha! This thread has gotten silly and I must take the blame for that. THe past several months have brought LOTS of various issues and personal problems so I must apologize for letting this project "fall off" so to speak. I just e-mailed John@Akuma to let him know that all is well and we are ready to proceed. Certain things had to be prioritized over this, but that is done now and yes, the goal is to have the Evo ready for track openings in Spring. Updates soon...I PROMISE

Just spoke to John about an hour ago and will be going to Akuma this coming week to straighten everything out and plan the rest of the build so we can get this ball rolling ASAP. Sorry for the delays. Some real vultures in this thread! LOL
