ok, so here's what I don't understand... I've run 17x9 rpf1's... I'm almost 100% certain they were +35 offset...

No spacer, no nothing... Clearance everywhere running 255/40's.

So why run less offset and then run a spacer? Am I blindly missing something?

I think SBC goes very well in Red, but then again SBC goes well on any color Evo
18x9.5 +15 offset SBC 245/40/18 stock struts w/Swift spec-R lowering springs, rolled rears, no spacers.

I run this size and offset right now. You do need the 20mm spacer in the fronts to clear the brembos. But there is no fender work or anything else that rubs. Just the 20mm spacer.

Your car looks great man
I think a 40 profile tire looks alot better on there then a 35.
How much camber are you running f/r and do you have any rubbing?

Thanks, it's a lot more smooth w/40 series. don't know the camber, since I'm on lowering springs and I didnt get it aligned. I do have slight rubbing in the rear on hard cornering and a lot of ppl in the back seat.
