HID 10,000 kit for low high and fog?

I was wondering if it would be safe to run 10k hid kis in my low high and fog lights? Would this melt my housing? I'm in for the exotic look! Any info would be appreciated

Melt any thing? No. HIDs required a lot of power to fire the bulb but they run cooler. Now it will look pink. Not exotic but ricer.

Nope. 10000k would look pretty stupid. They only
Make 35w and the brighter 55 watt kits. I have 6000k which is white with a tint of blue. So far there 2 years old and no problems.

I have 8000k on my 08 duramax on both fog lights and head
Lights and I love them. 8000k color is the limit. That's my opinion. Anything above that just looks retarded the street and ricer.

Ok I'm buying the hid kits from hid extra and I was trying to make sure it wouldn't melt my housing from running all 3 in there

My friend had 10k HIDs in his low beam and fogs on his accord. Looked straight blue.

My GTO had 6ks and it was still suprisingly blue, especially when compared next to a car with 4300ks,which were pure bright *** white and had better range as well.

Definitaly reccomend the 4300ks. The pure white looks very good.

The hids won't melt your housings for sure no matter what color u choose, but honestly its quite pointless to do hid hi beams because hids need too heat up to and take a couples seconds to get to its ful brightness.....and its yours just using your hi beams to flash on n off then its absolutely pointless....

Where I live anything over 8000K, is asking for a ticket. IMO having an EVO is enough attention.

10000k is way to high, go with 6000k, white with a little blue tint

I still dont understand why people are so infatuated by these High kelvin head lights. Anything more than 4300k actually effects you negatively. So who cares if they are blue, you wont see them anyways (driving). Too each his own..

I guess its just a ricer thing

I've been seeing lots of blues and pinks around where I live. I'm guessing the compliments that you've been getting are from younger kids. Just like it was stated earlier, anything beyond 4300k-5000k, and the actual usable light output goes downhill.
