Thank you, looks like it may be my quickest solution right now.

No problem. If you need instructions to relocate the controls and install a 2 din with the oem 2 din trim, let me know. I'll email them to you.

Take care.

I installed the Eden kit. It works great but the price is a little high. It saved some head ache though so it was worth it to me.

How do the cover plates attach? Do you have any pictures from during the install?

The plate attaches like the original bezel, just 2 screws. I used two smaller screw to make it fit a little easier. The plate sandwiches the MR cubby between the climate control and plate. the second plate just attaches with some 3M sticky tape. It just covers up the edge of the temp, mode, and blower speed stickers. It's really simple.

Ah ok. Thanks for the pic. So the only purpose of the taped on plate is to hide the edges of the stickers? I'm thinking it would look better without the extra plate

Honestly there isn't much of a noticeable difference with or with out the second plate. I just put it on because I still had it. I didn't really think that the two screws was enough to support the climate control but it's actually pretty sturdy.

I bought one of these. They are awesome. I will load a better picture of the actual kit during the day, but I've had it installed for 3 months now. One thing though my hvac lights don't work on one side and some times not at all. Anyone see that before? Ima check the bulbs I just never got around to it.

Hi. If it's only half the bulbs that are turning on, you should check your fuses first. I had this happen with both Lancers I had, 02 and 05, and it was a blown fuse, but I don't remember which one. Turn your lights on and check the rest of your bulbs. If it's the fuse, there should be other bulbs also off outside. The fuse should be from the engine compartment box, but check both just in case.

If all fuses are good, then you'll need to test by swapping the working bulbs to the non working side.

Hope this helps.

Here' the Eden kit--as stated, pricey, but looks OEM. It ended up being worth it to me.
