my only gripe with the Asteroid at the moment is I would LOVE to have some of the newer android apps on there but because the OS is so old I'm stuck on the older versions of Google Maps, Waze, etc.

It's an oem 2 din trim with 2 vw triple gauge panels, glued and molded to a smooth finish. The guy that had me do this for him wanted 6 gauges on the same spot, and he already had the radio under the passenger seat, so he got the relocation bezel and asked for this separately.
At the time, I worked with what I knew, so getting the gauge panels and attaching them to the oem was the easiest way for me to do it. I could possibly do it again without the panels, but I would need to find a way to get the gauge holes properly aligned.
I'll check my email and pic archives to see if I can find more pics.

I just bought a forester for my wife and based on what I've read the Pioneer will do exactly that. I'm going to try it.
I do have a Nexus 7 1st gen Wifi/GSM Ive been holding on to but if this works I'll be posting it for sale for cheap.
