the adjustable FPR helps allow it run smaller injectors and still support high HP.. with that said.. insane speed.. next time you post something like this (21psi on a 6262 making 680whp) you need to provide concrete proof and evidence of the boost and the pull or people will not believe.

im not commenting on it, because ive seen things done similar before.

for anyone else that doesnt know.. VegasSE is the owner of insane speed along with many other shops.. he pretty much has unlimited funds lol.

ask him about his twin turbo lamborghini making 1300whp+

First off ID 1000's flow 1400cc at 70psi and will continue to flow more and more the higher the fuel pressure goes. There is currently a Supra making 890rwhp on ID 1000cc's so yes, it's certainly possible with those injectors. Check them out, we use Injector Dynamics on everything.

Calling Mike Angel full of bs is a pretty big statement. He's one of the most reputable tuners in the world with a serious history of record breaking automobiles from Jun, to Area 51, to Honda, to FXMD, to world record setting Bonneville cars. Many of his cars have broken records on tracks around the world, and on dynos around the country. That's why he tunes all of Insane Speed's vehicles and is contracted to tune vehicles all over the world. His credentials speak for themselves.

Very true. Honestly, we didn't really think it was that big of a deal. Efficient yes, but the 8th wonder of the world? Who would have known. Properly configured Mivec on a 2.3 with a ***** out head. I expected to see that number at maybe 28-29psi to be honest, but the tuner shows us the graph, fuel consumption, and boost level at a spike of 23 and peak power at 21psi, so I'm not sure what else I can say about it. The only graph I have to post of the dyno is the one in the first post. It's a shame we don't still have the data log from that run.

It sure is a fun thread to read though.

How's this for a post correction? Everyone happy now?

""Made 680awhp on a 6262 at a boost level inconceivably low to some so the numbers have been hidden to protect the innocent, and for the interest of reducing the spread of the horrible disease hateritis. "

You probably don't know this, but Supra's have 6 injectors and Evo's have 4.

6 injectors spray more fuel than 4 injectors, allowing more power to be made. I hope this isn't too confusing for you, as I know your basic knowledge of automotives is pretty low.

You have to quadruple the fuel pressure to double the flow. If you ran enough base pressure to support 680 whp on 1000cc IDs... The injectors wouldn't be able to open.

Not only is it not probable, it's not possible.

Realistically Anyone that cares about dyno numbers needs to take a look at the big picture... I can make a dyno graph easily and make it read anything I want just by changing a few settings on the dyno computer. Settings are unknown.. along with boost not being logged on the sheet.

21 psi and the car made nearly 700hp? That's hard to believe. What fuel? Meth?
