Boltz.' Build Thread 2011.
I've never had a build thread and sort of regretted it. It would be cool to look back at it chronologically and might be of benefit or entertainment for others. So here I am.
My car has been under some major construction lately and has maybe 5 weeks to go still.
My goal is the ultimate street car.
It should be very fast in every facet; stop, go, grip, agility. That means a very fast and fun car to take to autocross, road race and drag race. It should have perfect driveability and be a reliable car to take on a road trip. It should be more comfortable to drive and stock like quiet. It should be just as safe as stock. It should look stunning with great style design and detail. It should do this all and still be unique. It will be driven daily, year round, through Chicago weather.
It won't have a mini battery. It won't have solid motor mounts, a mustache bar, a solid diff mount, a noisy clutch, removed crash beams or removed sound deadening. Besides a front plate, it will be completely legal to drive. It will pass emissions. No roll cage or harness bar. It will retain all of its trunk space. It won't have poorly fitting body panels. I won't be wire-tucking it or cutting off tons of loose brackets for weight savings.

Space I'm saving for the final product

I got some yellow Volk stickers from Mike @ TougeFactory and slapped those on the volks as well as painting the brembo's yellow (which had officially turned into blackbo's)
Blackbo's
New yellow
With the wheels back on, you can notice as I did that the stickers didn't match the brakes as planned. The stickers were actually more of a greenish yellow than the brakes.

Next up was a prototype BBK-B to test from Chad Block at CBRD Speedfactory! I love the service and support that Chad has backed me up with. Great guy.
If the results are anything like what I experienced with the standard BBK, I'd say I'm in good shape for power delivery.

A Muse turbo outlet pipe with an external wastegate dump from Tiago @ VRSF was added to the list. Next in line is an Ebay 02 and the last one is a stock unit
