Why is your hood up like that? Your car looks good but I hate the way the hood looks..

I think it's for ventilation purposes, so engine heat can leave the bay easier.
Great looking car, post interior shots

Correct. It was a big fad with the Honda kids. Kinda reminds me of the fender mod we do to our evos.

Hood makes sense, but for over all functionality I don't think it works THAT well.. thats what the hood vent is there for and it works great. Raising the hood just screws the lines of the car all up IMO. But to each their own.

Just 20mm adonised washers inbetween bonnet (hood) and brackets they come with a spacer but had to lift that off for the hood (bonnet) dampers.

It does give a big lift I should of gone with 11mm or 14mm really but hey - ho !!

No need for the extra so called "heat dispersion". You already have enough air being rammed into your engine bay from the front and its blowing out under your car and also being sucked out of the hood vent...

the lifters are to help with heat soak of the induction kit I have when on track days .

I have even removed the OEM underpanel to help disperse heat as I do suffer on hot days after a few laps.
