Hey everyone,

Just rolled in from the track a few minutes ago. It was a long day but we couldnt ask for a better day. Weather was perfect all day and sunny. Before i go any further i just want to say thanks to Devin and Nick @ Boostin for helping me today and getting the car to run solid as hell all day. They busted there a** to get the car together for the weekend and it was awesome. BP FTW!!! Also thanks to my friends that came out and helped and supported

I havent made a solid pass since the 9.1 about 4 months ago. Car saw a couple mid 9 sec passes but with break up issues. Car had some issues and bumps in the road but it all worked out. I made around 7 passes tonight throughout the course of the night. Best pass i made was 9.1@159 with a 1.49 60ft! Car came out great on that pass. I believe with a 1.40 60ft like I cut 4 months ago it would have been very close to that 8 sec pass. I went 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, 9.5, and 9.6 today lol. I would say pretty consistent and the good news was that i kept on going down on the times haha

After the 9.1 pass tonight i let the car cool down for awhile. The bad news is that the temp outside dropped 15 degrees and made the track slippery. I couldnt stop spinning and the car was bouncing/hoping through the 60ft but still managed to go 9.2@158 with a 1.6 60ft. The logs and the car feels awesome. The thing just rips. I have no doubt in my mind guys that the car has a 8 sec pass in her. I am going back to the track next weekend to a different track to try But i am glad i was consistent today and got some seat time with the new changes and im ready to go back! Hope the clutch and trans holds up 1 more track day. I def dont want to start to get locked out again haha.

can u post the details of the 9.1 slip? im guessing 3.9 or 4.0 in the 330 n 5.9 or 6.0 in the 1/8th

Did you ever find out what the root cause of the mis-fire issues were?

 

Thanks Bud! Its nice to be back at it. Its been awhile and i had fun all day The break up issue was in the head. I was having valve float issues also i believe an issueswith cylinder 3 injector. I think it was starting to Clogg because a month and a half later number 3 Injector did clogg and caused some problems.

But since i switched to the Evo 8 head with the new cams car feels very strong. My MPH is definetly good for a 8.9 pass. I just need to stop spinning so I can cut that low 60ft again. Im going to a different track next weekend where the track is more consistent and where i cut my better 60fts! Were going to make a few adjustments on the suspension and go from there Cant wait till we get back out there. Ill post up the Time slip details in a few!
