Ya I don't think most people realize how wide the APR Wide body kit actually is!!!
He is running 18x10.5 +15 offset on the car now and it looks like the stock wheels do on a stock body car They are way to tucked He could still throw on a 1" space on those wheels and then they would be flush with the fenders. So now you have a few inches of room on the inside between the wheel and suspension. I know that I could probably run on the Voltex kit 11.5" wide if I have the right offset. I might get a little rub on the front at full lock tho.
Unless you have a wide body you don't realize how much room there is in there. If guys are running 9.5" and 10" wide on stock body and the wide body kits are 1" (25mm) wider than stock front and rear (Voltex kit) and up to 1.75" (45mm) wide on the APR kit. I see that 11-12" wide wheels are very possible
Yes, yes it would be awkward

It requires the perfect offset, the perfect wheel, trailing links, and 6" springs on your coilovers... as well as a dialed in alignment in camber AND caster.
If people have widebody's... 18x12's should be VERY easy to fit. They would tuck a Hoosier 315/30/18 like nobody's business!

I know you can fit 18x11's on the OEM body Front and Rear.
