I was reading some guys saying that it defeats the purpose of the vent being there, instead of pulling air out it does nothing. of course they are talking about the side without the scoop. would you mind sending me a pic of your intake setup?

how is fitment? does this thing stay put while hauling *** or does it bounce around or vibrate?

The passenger side vent is still open. The scoop brings air in and directs right on top of the air filter. It's very sturdy, doesn't vibrate or move at all. I was 50/50 with the scoop when I first saw it. I wasn't sure if I was going to use it. I got it for a really good price though. I've only seen one other person with the scoop from ny. I've got a lot of compliments on it though. It gives me a different look than the other evos around my area. I'll try to send you pics tomorrow.

nose chop looks awesome. maybe this weekend ill make it into a little project and do my nose chop too

It has a the factory mesh grill, I don't like it with them emblem.
