All the guys in this thread running XXR 521s are saying they "hammered pinch welds" , what exactly does that mean? sorry newb question

I wanna guess before someone throws out actual answer!

Where two metal parts meet in the fender well and instead of welding 2 overlapped (flat joints) the two pieces form opposite "L" shapes and a welder tacks them together therefor needing to be hammered one way or the other to get rid of "sharp" seam......

yeah i had to hammer those bad boys as well. my mechanic also had to extend my abs cable because it kept rubbing up against my tire since i have almost no fender liner left. he had to do this to both front sensors.

lol thats awesome. i dont have any fender liner. i already rubbed through one abs line, not i just drill holes inside the wheel well and zip tie it out of the way dgaf

That would be nice for a visual learner like me lol, are the 521s too much for daily driving? lol

No they are great for daily driving...i wanna do some auto xing and I dont know if hammering around corners is a great idea with 25mm spacers up front

Stretched tires would be a terrible idea for autox,Not spacers ..
