Mounting options for APR and other Splitters?
So I just picked up an SE lip and APR splitter and noticed there are lots of ways to fully secure a splitter.
Just looking for options, opinions and PROs & CONs of various ways to go about the mounting.
I've already found many splitters need larger washers, lock washers/nuts at the attachment points you can't see, under the car.
What are your thoughts on functionality & aesthetics on struts vs. wires used to hold the splitter up under high speeds?
Here are several pics I found where various methods are used.

Hey Eric, thanks for posting, I love the clean look of how you did the strut install but wondered how secure things were. What attachment point did you use? Is it just secured into the wire grill/mesh? From the photos it looks like you installed a piece of angled aluminum or something that the strut and bolt/nut is attached...

big fender washer and locking nuts. Under the SE lip there are plenty of holes and I did the same thing with every single hole. Fender washers from the bottom and a fender washer in the inside with a locking nut. I believe there are 9 or 10 holes on the bottom of the lip.

Maybe a stupid question but any trick to drilling the holes in the splitter to secure the struts?

For now, I've opt'd to not use the struts...instead, I used the splitter pre-drilled holes, added more attachment points and beefed up the hardware significantly. I believe with the way I have mine mounted it would hold up my body weight.
Notes/Tips from my SE lip & Splitter install:
1) My car is wicked white and the factory SE lip come painted weightless white.
Maybe my paint has faded/changed but I can NOT tell a difference.
2) I used the largest possible rivets to secure the factory plastic "attachment pieces" to the SE lip instead of the factory plastic push screws.
These attachment pieces are also called the "Lower cover and RH & LH reinforcement".
3) If you are installing a splitter on a car with all the factory lip attachment pieces some cutting may be required to get a tight, flush fit.
I used a Dremel Multi-Max with a flush cut blade to remove the plastic that hangs down.
Otherwise you will have weird gaps all over the front between the splitter and the lip.
4) I found the install much easier if you bolt down the lip to the splitter first, then attach the upper portion of the front fascia.
5) The APR splitter has 12 pre-drilled mounting points. I added another 4.
One on each outer corner of the lip and 2 on the most forward point.
6) Two large fender washers, one on each side, really stiffen things up.
