The EVOlution of my DSMs to EVO IX

Hey Guys,

Since I just finished with my build so far for the summer, I wanted to share with you some photos of the history of my cars. I've always been a DSM/Mitsubishi head and obsessed with turbo and AWD as you can see! All the cars were purchased stock (just the way I like them) and I won't get into all the mods/specs, I'll just let the photos speak for themselves.

My 1993 Talon 1gb TSI AWD

My 1998 Eclipse 2gb GSX

and finally my current 2006 EVO IX RR RS

Thanks for checking out a bit of my history

Looks good! It seems a lot of people on here did not come into Evos from DSMs. I think maybe there are former Honda and Nissan people on here, but I thought there would be way more DSM
Guys on here than there actually are. I guess it's not a bad thing, just kind of odd. Anyway, it's nice to see a another DSM guy on here. I had 4 talons before I got the Evo. I had a 90, 93, 95, and 96, all AWD/ turbo..I miss my last one but at least I can have people sit in the back that are older than 10 years old LOL!

Previous dsm owner her as well! The past dsm owners are the "best" evo owners.

All cars looked/look great!

For me I thought the natural evolution from a DSM would be an EVO, so I looked long and hard before I could find one and import it from the US. I agree I really do love and miss my old 1g/2g, but there is nothing the EVO can't do better. More speed, more power, more room (adults can sit in the back now!) and overall MUCH better built! Not sure why people complain about the interior, they must have never driven a DSM lol.

Thanks for the comments guys, I think I'm pretty much done with the exterior of my IX. I did consider a JDM rear, but exhaust fitment/rear crash beam made me think otherwise. I think I'm the only one here that likes the usdm rear haha.
