Coilovers for the stanced and the low?
Hello evom, i posted this thread in the suspension forums and after some replies they suggested i post in the show & shine forums so that you guys can help me out.
I have an evo 8 and I'm looking to go low (I know how a lot of you bash slammed and stretched but it's what I like). Yes I come from the VW world... I currently have MR shocks with tein springs and the ride is great, handles really well. I don't really track the car at all other than a few passes down a 1/4 mile a year. More than anything I'm looking for the ability to go low and ride comfortably as much as possible (compared to H&R ultra low coilovers is what I would like).
Here's a pic of my car as it sits now.. I'm going to be getting rid of the CE28s soon so if anyones interested PM me. Thanks fella's.

i havent heard much about the tein flex coils, are you pretty low right now?
ive heard good things about the BC racing coils, my buddy had a set in his evo an they rode pretty good but he wasnt exactly slammed.

If you are more into the show on a DD than hitting up the race track I recommend looking into the H&R. They use Bilstein dampers and ride excellent. Only ride height adjustable but if you dont need a track suspension, I highly recommend them. CBRD recommends them for street cars and Perrin has great prices!

I got quite a bit to go lower in the front, prolly a solid 1.25 of threads still. The rear, there isnt a whole lot left to go down. I just wanted the car to be level as possible without rubbin in the rear.
p.s. what are you looking to get for your wheels/tires? Specs?
