The evo seats are more comfortable than a racing seat for longer trips

I prefer fixed back seats for long trips. Forces proper posture which to me is more comfortable.

the evo 8 seats are not comfy, maybe the 9 se seats are. i could not bear the stiff cushion of the evo8 seat. so i tossed the driver seat and installed a recaro spg. best aftermarket imo. a lot of racers will say the racetech rt 1000. you have to sit in them (spg/rt1000), they are comfy. its hard to believe for a bucket, but it is.
i've sat in the sparco pro, sparco evo, sparco sprint, momo, and others. the sparco pro and evo are ok comfy, the others you need a butt cushion as its just thin cloth on top of plastic which is horrid.

Fixed back Sparco is the way to go. Any of the new Sparco seats have a very comfy memory foam and the fixed back forces good posture and makes even super long drives easy on the back. My old Sparco Speeds made even 8+ hour drives (with Tein Flex) seem easy. Hit us up if you want to go over options for however big a guy you are. We stock tons of seats.

These are some of the best seats out there.. Checked out most of them first hand at PRI and was thoroughly impressed.

I'm a tiny guy, well height wise. 5ft 4 inches and about 185lbs.

I drive my car an hour each way to and from work and have to seat in traffic alot and I'm hoping to start autocrossing next year so being able to have a comfort during the week is crucial to me.

There are a few seats that would fit you. Sadly, the nicest seat that would fit is also FIA approved, therefore it costs a decent bit more. The Evo 3 is made a for a 38-42 waist, so it would be more than comfy. Most of Sparcos "street seats" are made for skinnier guys, around 34" waist max. I have seen a 38" waisted guy shove himself into a Fighter, but it is not ideal fitment at all.

The Corbeau FX1 Wide would be a great budget option. The fabric and comfort aren't quite on par with Sparco, but they are also half the cost of an Evo 3. All great seats and very comfortable.
