Did you not install it on the wrong side? Most re-locates put them to the passenger side
They do it for weight distribution.

Only thing I would do is cut the excess threaded rod off, and tape up the connection a little better ( if you haven't already done these)

I did the same thing in my previous EVO. I don't have any pictures of the wiring being re-ran through the fender and the fuse set up before I got rid of the car though. I didn't want to have a bare trunk so I left the carpet.

If you want the engine bay to look cleaner, theres a plastic tab on the left side of the fuse box on the firewall side. Drill a hole in it and mount a threaded bolt and mount the wires to it directly and secure with a nut. Very clean install BTW.

Looks good but as others said the battery should be mounted on the right side as the left rear is heavier.

Thanks for the complients and suggestions. It didnt really cross my mind to place it on passenger side for weight distribution. All the pics that I seen on here had theirs on the driver side or centered. So I may switch it over there. And yes I did cut down the threaded bolts. I know for sure I will switch to 2 guage wire soon. But for some reason after moving my battery to the trunk, my car only boost 18psi.... So now I have to find out why my car is only boosting 18psi now. Seems like its always something. haha.

OP. What did you connect the negative to? I bought 2 gauge wiring and I'm having my buddy make me an aluminum box for it. I've been told the only place to get a real good ground is the block but I'd rather just run it down to my frame or trunk floor. What worked for you?

Ground it anywhere to the chassis, just make sure its metal to metal contact (remove all of the paint). I grounded mine to the threads where the RS trunk bar would have mounted to.
